Wonder Department is a publisher. A publisher of matters of the head and the heart. We publish what we feel is missing, or could be done better.
We were looking for a soap for the sweetest girl we know. Seven years old, sensitive skin. Gentle enough and fun? No such thing. So we made one ourselves.
It became a carrot soap. We called it What’s Soap, Doc? More followed, each as quirky as the last.
Then we lost Huub, our dog. We looked for a place to keep everything he was. And someone to talk to about him. We couldn’t find either. So we made DearestDog.
After that came characters, with a world and a story all their own.
A soap, a place for your dog, a story. Nothing in common. Yet made the same way: from the heart, with a clear head. They belonged under one roof.
There’s still room under that roof, and plenty waiting on the shelf. Not all at once. All with care.
